Oh where to being….
It’s kind of funny how we met, but what’s more interesting
is what brought us together. Cake Pops! Yup that sweet trendy treat that
everyone is crazy about. As the owner
and event planer of The Perfect Place I (Nicole) was in need of filling a special
request for a client, 2 dozen Cat in The Hat themed cake pops. I was in a panic! No local bakeries made
these (they hadn’t even hit Starbucks at the time). To order them online was
not cost effective and don’t even get me started on the cake pop disaster of 09.
So I contacted The Kooky Baker aka Mayyasa. We met for coffee and yes I must
confess like a true American I was in love with her British accent (more about
that later). Not only could she make cake pops, but I soon learned that we share
a love for many things….
These photos are from the first project we worked on
together and since then we have become close friends and have been on several “adventures”
together.
We love to follow
blogs, but we’re both terrible with keeping up with our own. So like many of
our projects we decided that we might as well blog together and share out
Perfectly Kooky adventures with you.
